I love software development. I got into software development because I liked solving problems. I was reluctant to get into management because I didn't want to give up my life of solving problems. It wasn't until I saw leadership as a problem solving career as well that I decided to make the leap.
There was one problem.
All of the resources out there were talking about how to be a manager but not how to become a manager. They were describing the destination not the journey.
I decided then that I would solve this problem. I would create the guide to becoming a manager that would lay out the process to help people make the shift in their skills, mentality and systems. The thinking and systems I developed are still ones I use to this day.
I can help you. I have been where you are and know what it takes to get to the other side.
